The ECM Mechanika Max is a ground breaking espresso machine with this new PID controller that actively monitors and regulates the temperature at the brew group, the ECM Mechanika MAX redefines the potential of heat exchanger espresso machines, making this a Heat Exchanger machine with all of the benefits of a dual boiler! Its small footprint exterior houses robust functionality like programmable on/off times, various pre-infusion options, when and how long to activate "cooling flushes", maintenance reminders, and a plumbable near silent rotary pump.
With the cleaver use of two temperatures probes, one in the boiler and one located at the pipe feeding the group head, you can accurately control the boiler and group head temperature. The PID can also be programmed to alert you when you need to back flush, when you need to change the water filters, and on/off times and the ECO mode which can be scheduled to switch the machine off after the desired time of inactivity.
For added temperature stability, this machine can be set to designate the temperature from the group, and for extra steaming power, you can activate the "steam boost" mid shot if required.
