The Weiss Distribution Technique (WDT) is a term that is being used more and more in coffee circles, especially in the home coffee community. Barista Hustle has created the Comb as a response to proper espresso distribution and maximizing extraction of your coffee. The Comb comes with 0.35mm needles to best suit the needs of anyone who is making espresso at home.

 

The needles can be situated in a row for those who prefer to simply rake the top of the espresso grounds, or a hexagonal shape can be made for deep distribution. With 30, rounded-tip needles, the possibilities for how you choose to distibute your grounds is essentially infinite.
