What is the Blind Shaker?
The Unibasket is a precision 58mm espresso basket made from a thick piece of stainless steel with individually laser-ablated holes extending towards the basket walls. Its rigid construction is designed to reduce flex at the bottom of the basket during extraction and is available in 16g, 20g, 24g and 28g sizes.
With the Unifilter , Weber Workshop created a portafilter revolution. Weber Workshops is extending that concept to the Unibasket®, utilizing the same construction and improvements on extraction that the Unifilter brought, but in a “drop-in” basket form. Now available in 4 basket sizes, including an industry-first whopping 28g megafilter.
Why the Unibasket?
The Unibasket provides a wider and more even extraction area than a conventional tapered espresso basket. Its rigid construction helps maintain puck integrity during brewing, giving baristas greater visibility and consistency when dialing in espresso.
