Malaysia Coffee Week (MCW) 2026, done and dusted!
MCW has always been one of the events that we look forward to every year. It is busy, loud, and a little chaotic in the best way, but it is also where we get to meet so many familiar faces, new customers, home baristas, and people who are simply curious about coffee.
This year marked our fourth time participating, and for this round, we decided to do something a little different. Instead of the usual display of machines, grinders, and accessories, we dedicated a section of our booth to our own Lamarsa Home Coffee Corner.
Across the four days, the corner changed into three different setups: My First Coffee Corner, Coffee for Two, and The Family Coffee Corner.
My First Coffee Corner
A simple starter setup for those who are just beginning their home coffee journey.
Coffee for Two
A shared coffee corner made for brewing together, balancing performance and daily use.
The Family Coffee Corner
A fuller home setup for families or shared spaces where coffee becomes part of the daily routine.
Each setup was made to show a different kind of home coffee corner. From someone just starting out, to a couple brewing together, to a shared corner for the family, we wanted the space to feel a little more relatable and less like our usual product display.
Of course, we also brought along a selection of machines, grinders, and accessories from the brands we carry, including La Marzocco, Rocket Espresso, Lelit, Fellow, Mahlkönig, ECM, Profitec, and Eureka. It was nice seeing visitors take their time around the booth, asking questions, comparing machines, and imagining what would suit best at home.
One of our favourite parts of MCW is always the conversations that happen in between. Some came by with a machine already in mind, some were still figuring out where to start, and some just wanted to chat about coffee. Those moments made the four days feel worth it, even when the booth got busy.
